Updated 2022 Pro Pickleball Medal Counts

Authored by: Waggish
I helped NML in posting final medal counts after the PPA Texas Open event. However, since the Texas Open, we have had a few tournaments, including Nationals, PPA Takeaya Showcase, PPA Hertz National and APP Mesa Open #2.
The above chart provides the updated medal counts for doubles and the below chart provides the updated singles medal count:

There were also some players not included in either of the above charts. Below are medal count totals for some of those players who were not included. The first number is for doubles and the second number is for singles if there the play has won more than zero medals.
– Collin Johns – 17
– Julian Arnold – 5; 5
– Irina Tereschenko – 4; 3
– Etta Wright – 5
– Tyler Loong – 9
– Callan Dawson – 7
– AJ Koller – 11
– Ryan Sherry – 0; 2
– Jackie Kawamoto – 5
– Chuck Taylor – 3
– Stefan Auvergne – 3

If you have any specific medal winner that you would like data on, please post in the comments below and I’ll do my best to try to get a response to you.
We’ll have senior pro prize winnings and medal counts next!
Very confused by the $ post and the 2022 medal count post – why do the numbers not match? In the $ post you have JW with 63 medals, and this post with 42.
Will be interesting to see counts at end of next year with PPA gold players not playing APP.
Nadal Rules: They do match. The 42 is doubles. When you add in the Singles chart at 21, you get the 63 that the prize winnings chart shows. Sorry for the confusion. I go a little crazy with database queries. I tried to break the charts out based on prior feedback I was given. Most people wanted Singles to be in its own chart. But it seemed to make sense to show the grand total on the prize winnings chart. (Though of course I have all the numbers on an individual bracket basis too!)
Got it – thanks for putting all of this together.
Thank you very much for all of the time that you put in. Very much appreciated. Have a great new year. 🙂
